Silver Spring Zendo/One Heart Sangha is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering zen practice and teaching. We ascribe to the White Plum Asanga Code of Ethical Conduct. Our members are individuals dedicated to realizing and actualizing the interconnectedness of life. We are governed by an elected board of directors (Council) and Bylaws. Our Council meetings are open to all.
Our objectives and purposes are:
to foster multifaith, inter-religious practice in the
Soto Zen tradition;
to provide orientation and instruction in Zen meditation;
to provide regularly scheduled periods of practice; and
to provide residential training for members and other interested persons.
We are affiliated with the Zen Peacemakers.
