Wellspring, the Conference Center--  Germantown, MD

Teachers: Sensei Robert Jin Gen Ertman and other White Plum Asanga teachers

Not one, not two: "May the sound of the bell spread throughout the universe, making darkness bright, relieving the three realms of suffering, shattering swords. May it bring all beings to Enlightenment."

“More precisely, it’s about living a questioning life, a life of unknowing.  If we’re ready to live such a life, without fixed ideas or answers, then we are ready to bear witness to every situation, no matter how difficult, offensive, or painful it is.”  – Bernie Glassman, Bearing Witness

Join us for this time of sitting in appreciation of the fullness of our lives just as they are now. Our time together will consist of blocks of zazen (sitting meditation) and kinhin (walking meditation), dharma talks, and optional interviews, as well as rest practice and meals together.
Throughout the sesshin we will practice supportive silence of attentiveness.
